New this year, the 2026 KBB Awards – presented by Kitchen & Bath Business magazine – will celebrate the best of the best in products, projects and people. All 2026 judge-selected winners will be showcased in the magazine’s September/October issue.

Submissions are open until July 2, 2026, for you to propose your best products and projects and to nominate yourself or an industry peer to be considered for the People Awards.

  • The KBB Product Awards honor manufacturers for superior products that fulfill market needs through technological advancement, function, aesthetic merit and innovation. If you are a manufacturer that has unveiled a new kitchen or bath product between April 2, 2025, and July 2, 2026, that has not been previously entered, you’re eligible to enter the 2026 KBB Product Awards. In addition to Kitchen and Bath Products of the Year, we will also be awarding specific categories, including Refrigeration, Faucets, Hardware, Cabinetry, Lighting and Sustainable Offerings. The early-bird competition fee is $425 per entry/product through April 30, 2026. The regular submission fee is $575 per entry/product from May 1 through July 2, 2026.
  • The KBB Project Awards honor outstanding kitchen and bath design and those who create it. If you are a design professional who has completed a residential kitchen or bath within the last 12 months up until the competition ends (April 2, 2025, to July 2, 2026), you are eligible to enter the KBB Project Awards. In addition to Kitchen and Bathroom Projects of the Year, we will also include awards for 11 specific project categories, including Best Before & After, Best in Outdoor Living, Best Use of Color and Best Wellness, Sustainable, Luxury and Universal Design. The cost to submit is $150 for each entry and will cover the regular categories (Kitchen or Bath of the Year). If you wish to enter for a specialty category, you DO NOT need to pay an additional entry fee.
  • The KBB People Awards honor those who are passionate, innovative and influencing the kitchen and bath industry in a positive way. We encourage you to nominate yourself or a peer who is a go-getter in our industry. There is no cost to nominate.

We are excited to announce the exciting new KBB Awards program, and we can’t wait to see what’s new in products, projects and people in our ever-changing industry.

This year’s winning products – encompassing our overall Kitchen and Bath nods and 27 categories – included many easy, clever solutions that work behind the scenes. This year, the judges went outside the box and chose several offerings that don’t necessarily take center stage. Several of our winners debuted at KBIS 2025.

A lightweight concrete tub was singled out because its overflow is concealed, and a power grommet was chosen for its ability to retract into and blend in the with countertop. In the kitchen, a drawer organizer with magnetic pegs won a nod, as did a fixture with push-to-conceal handles. In the bathroom, a lavatory trap got high marks for aesthetic merit, and the judges loved a no-wiggle hardware solution.

Shapes are all the rage this year, as seen in an arched medicine cabinet, a square choice for downlights, a new cement surfacing option and a new twist on decorative hardware. And personalization and customization are still trending.

Click on the Gallery to see all the winners. We are so excited to congratulate this year’s KBB Product Awards winners!

Vast concrete tub

2025 Product Awards Bathroom Product of the Year: VAST Studio Concrete Tub

Concrete is making its way into today’s homes in myriad ways, and this year’s overall bath product winner (and Tub category front-runner) is following suit. Our judges were impressed by the thin-walled tub with an overflow – something a little extra that hasn’t been typically available. The made-in-the-USA Concrete Tub from VAST Studio comes with an integrated overflow system installed in the tub body for a clean look with no external hardware. The fixture features metal accents like brass, copper or stainless steel – mixing sculptural design with an industrial edge. It is created with U.S.-sourced concrete, plaster and metal – materials that offer durability, thermal retention and wear resistance. The company’s concrete mix and casting techniques produce a lightweight concrete tub, and its material composition and internal structure make it easier for the fixture to be transported and installed. vaststudio.com

Hettich Furnspin Product Awards

2025 Product Awards Kitchen Product of the Year: Hettich FurnSpin

A big hit at KBIS 2025, this year’s overall kitchen product winner – also the Functional Storage & Hardware victor – was also popular with our judges for its versatility, ease of use and reasonable price point. FurnSpin from Hettich allows cabinets to rotate, so they can either hide or reveal what’s inside with a simple tap. A balanced torque prevents movement of even the lightest objects during the “spin,” and popular applications are for storing delicate glasses and bottles in a bar area and concealing and accessing cluttered bathroom cabinets when guests are visiting.FurnSpin offers all the usual bells and whistles, including soft-close and push-to-open features, which supports handleless cabinet design. hettich.com/en-us/home

Our overall Kitchen Product winner – as well as the winner of the Smart Technology category – was FreePower for Countertop, a groundbreaking, wireless charging technology that transforms everyday surfaces into powerful charging zones.

Jake Slatnik, the visionary founder of Freepower, shared his pride in these accolades during a recent interview. “We’ve received numerous awards, but the Kitchen Product of the Year from KBB holds a special place for us. It validates the hard work and creativity our team has poured into bringing cutting-edge technology to everyday life.”

The Inspiration Behind FreePower for Countertop

FreePower’s origin story began in 2017 when Jake Slatnik was frustrated by traditional wireless charging solutions and finding himself waking up with a dead phone several times a week because of misalignment with those limited charging ‘hotspots’ on traditional pucks. He wanted to transform entire surfaces into charging zones.

The concept matured over years of research, “Shark Tank” appearances and collaborations with major names. By 2024, FreePower had shifted focus to where it all began–creating charging-ready surfaces for homes.

Addressing Real-Life Needs with Adjustable Elegance

Slatnik says the kitchen stands out as an ideal charging zone since it is the heart of the home, and the kitchen island often serves as a workstation. Beyond kitchens, FreePower’s applications extend to bathroom vanities, nightstands and even office desks.

FreePower’s charging zone is subtly indicated by a glowing circular halo. For an even more innovative edge, the “Wave to Wake” feature allows the halo to remain hidden until activated by a simple wave over the surface. This means your elegant kitchen, vanity, or nightstand remains pristine, with lights only appearing when needed.

Collaborations with industry giants such as James Martin Vanities and Cosentino have even incorporated FreePower directly into vanities, blending design and technology effortlessly. During KBIS 2025, FreePower showcased these developments to outstanding acclaim.

Tune in to find out about additional features, such as the “Holiday Halo” and upcoming “Team Colors” that bring a touch of personalization.

Why KBB Product Awards Recognition Matters

For those considering submitting their innovations for industry awards, Slatnik offered simple advice: “Do it.” He further explained that awards like KBB’s carry significant weight, providing unparalleled visibility within the design and architectural communities. For FreePower, it wasn’t just about the honor but the opportunity to reach a wider audience of designers, retailers and homeowners. The awards also amplify the product’s credibility and visibility, especially as FreePower continues to redefine home convenience through subtly integrated, advanced technology.

In our most recent From the Tap podcast, we got to know more about the 2023 KBB Product Awards Kitchen Product of the Year winner, Bertazzoni’s Professional Series 48-Inch Induction Range in the matte-graphite Carbonio finish. We spoke with Valentina Bertazzoni, the company’s style and communications director, who told us what the benefits to winning the competition have been for the company.

She also told us what the inspiration was behind the design of the Pro Series 48-Inch Induction Range. Style and innovation drive the brand’s process, and this appliance offers a sleek, sustainable choice.

2023 Product Awards Bertazzoni

Innovation & Aesthetics

In terms of market need, the induction range offers an eco-conscious cooking experience that allows precision heating. It offers several innovative functions, including multiple heating zones, booster features, residual heat indicators and digital programming, and it is easy to clean.

It integrates flush with the countertop and is the first of its kind in the 48-inch size from Bertazzoni. The new Carbonio finish allows the appliance to blend into a kitchen with a darker color palette, or it can be a focal point in a lighter space.

Bertazzoni told us the Professional Series 48-Inch Induction Range was very well received at KBIS 2024. Future plans include a full suite of appliances in the Carbonio finish, including refrigeration and dishwashers.

According to the 2023 KBB Product Awards judges, “Bertazzoni has been known for unique and bold finishes, and the brand continues to deliver yet again. Ranges are a great place to celebrate the art of cooking, and a statement piece is one way of doing so.”

Health and wellness are two buzzwords making the rounds in the kitchen and bath industry, and the overall winners of the KBB Product Awards 2023 have been paying close attention. A cold plunge tub in your own bathroom and a streamlined induction range for the home chef totally fit the bill.

A lot of this year’s winners had a focus on function and aesthetics, and customization is still key, as seen with the Kitchen and Bath Faucet and Shower Components category winners.

Above photo: The Bathroom Product of the Year & Tub Winner: Hydro Systems Cold Plunge

Other winning products were designed to solve very specific issues, including a product that protects trash areas from spills, grout that matches every color imaginable and a clothes-drying rack that folds away into a cabinet when not in use.

Today’s homeowners also want products that are built to last, as well as hygienic offerings like the winners of the Smart Innovation and Countertop categories. Statement pieces in the kitchen and bath are all the rage – faucets and vanities included – and sustainability is top of mind, as you can see with the Kitchen Accessory and Kitchen Cabinets category winners.

bertazzoni range

The Kitchen Product of the Year & Kitchen Appliance Winner: Bertazzoni Professional Series 48-Inch Induction Range

A few wild cards round out this year’s winners, including new versions of indoor and outdoor workstation sinks, an accessible and safe toilet seat and a wallcovering inspired by the ancient art of fluting.

A huge thanks goes out our judges for naming this year’s winners of the KBB Product Awards – congrats to all!
